A World Map of Social Networks - mapping the geographical reach of the major social networks from June 2009 to June 2011. You will notice that the world map is now predominately blue as Facebook becomes the primary social networking site worldwide. Most notably is how Facebook has still to make a significant penetration into Brazil and Russia, where Orkut and V Kontakte respectively still hold the number one spot in these countries.
