I used Google Translate by mistake today, I was looking for a translation which wasn’t covered by Yahoo’s Babel Fish, searched for an online translation product and when I used it the result page came back branded as Google.

Google Detox - Day 3
Trying to ignore all my Google Alerts, which is quite difficult as I’ve set them to email me every time a new piece of content is publish. Regarding my search queries, I’m now using a mixture of the following to find content rather than one engine:
Bing Yahoo Thomson Local
On the plus side, I do like Bing’s ever changing homepage image. It is a nice touch!

Not much to report, apart from I’m now using both Bing and Yahoo for my search results. I’m finding that unless I’m really perspective in my search queries the wrong results are showing. The detox continues.
